電影: 十二怒漢 Twelve Angry Men, 荷里活1957作品, 黑白製作, 十二個男人齋講, 男主角Henry Fonda, 故事發生在一個法庭陪審員的審議室, 片長一小時三十多分鐘。這部電影是友人Vanessa的影痴朋友推介她看的, Vanessa看完了, 大讚好, 喜孜孜的和我談論這電影! 起初, 我有點担心黑白舊電影的質素, 而且全片齋講, 一個場景到尾, 會不會很悶呢? 但依然記著這片名。到銅鑼灣看醫生時,見尚有時間便到HMV一行, 發現貨架上出售特價的十二怒漢DVD, 只售HK$48, 比起Amazon.com便宜, 更不用消售稅, 一於據為己有。
回家一口氣看畢! 經典真是經典, 難怪獲獎無數! 原來, 電影不一定需要電腦特技﹑爆破﹑美女﹑千萬佈景, 越簡單越見功力。這故事的成功之處,是它觸到人性的弱點—「偏見」,一個我們常犯的毛病, 所以特別容易令人產生共鳴。

Friend did that play in university...and we added something to the ending: at the last minute of the play, all the jurors exit stage one by one, with Mr Davis (juror #8) and the janitor beig the last ones on stage. As Mr Davis is exiting, he and the janitor exchange a 'smile'. So making you think maybe, just maybe, Mr Davis is an 'inside' man to change the verdict. Boom Boom!
