Why it's Lemonade?

上一篇的延續。為什麼這個Campaign用Lemonade做創意? Lemonade除了好喝, 還有什麼呢 ? 一定內有文章, 問問朋友V小姐, 得到詳盡答案, 她真是我的好老師。以下就是 V 小姐的解說:

Here's an explanation about pink slips, and lemons, and lemonade in the American culture so you appreciate the film more:
-"pink slip": the paper they give you when they fire you (or the phrase that means you have been fired or let go)
-"lemons": not just the fruit, it's slang for "a not so sweet thing"---a sour thing, something that's not good
-"lemonade": when you make a lemonade from lemons, you've turned the "lemon" into a good thing!

The American saying is, "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!"---great huh! :) Now can you appreciate all those lemon shots they placed?

Finished just before the holidays, Lemonade is a short film about the optimistic side of creative unemployment, explored through interviews with "16 advertising professionals who lost their jobs and found their calling." After being laid off, they used their free time to become documentary filmmakers, coffee roasters and even transgendered.
This optimistic production is just starting to make its way around the country in sporadic, intimate screenings. There happens to be one coming up in Boston on January 14th at The Masssachusetts College of Art and Design, sponsored by the AIGA. To see it in your town, you can request one or buy the DVD.
The film was created by Please Feed The Animals, a blog for "the recently unemployed advertising professional," who happily remind us that "it's not a pink slip, it's a blank page."

2010春節晚會

中央電視台2010春節晚會, 有兩首悅耳的歌, 加上悅目的舞台視覺效果, 值得欣賞。



濃縮45秒的男人

洞悉消費者心理(consumers' insight)的廣告, 近期在香港較罕見, 所以一看到這個美國DOVE的廣告,就很喜歡。

這廣告在2010美國超級碗(Super bowl)大賽電視直播期間播出, 廣告費相當高昂, 肯花錢賣廣告, 可想而知男性個人護理用品市場, 擁有相當潛力。

45秒的廣告歌, 濃縮了男人的幾十個年頭, 果然犀利。
歌詞:
Get born, get slapped, now get to school
Get good at sports, always look cool.
Let's be strong, know how to fight.
Stay out late, but be polite .

Then have three kids who'll look just like you.
Release the hedge and mow the yard.
"Honey, can you open this jar?"

想知多一點:
According to Brand Republic, “A spokesman from Unilever said the ad follows Dove Men+Care research which found that three quarters of men over 30 feel that advertising does not represent their real lives.” Hence, the campaign stresses the life of real men and the journey they embark on to become comfortable in their own skin.

一女兩投


近日電視常播這個粟米油廣告,那個靚太,也是今期陽光檸檬茶的女主角, 這個BLOG前幾篇也寫過。

兩個廣告同一時期播出, 15分鐘前還是滿懷心事的少女,轉過頭來,卻化身至潮少婦。作為觀眾, 我覺得有點精神分裂, 還突顯那個檸檬茶學生妹的角色「好鬼假」!

還有, 香港的食油消費市場不同於國內, 市民來來去去都是買幾個大牌子, 品質有保證, 唔靚極有限。 而且買得起龍蝦做餸, 又點會用唔靚的食油?

總之, 這個廣告推銷產品的切入點, 有啲奇!

廣告社教化


為什麼,幾姐妹在一起,不是一齊玩一齊笑?

每次看這廣告都有點感慨, 一家人的意義有哪裡? 可以齊齊上網沒有拗撬便是和諧家庭?有沒有留意, 她們之間沒多少眼神交流!

讀書時代的廣告課有謂,廣告有「社教化」(Socialization)的作用,即是說廣告會潛移默化地影響社會大眾的思想行為,正因如此,諗大眾傳播的都要學一點傳媒道德操守。

其實, 做廣告是一種良心事業。

眼神



原以為陳振聰天生一張合不攏的「笑咀」(即俗廣東俗語的"烚熟狗頭",在肌肉relax的狀況下,上唇觸不到下唇),但,當他輸了世紀官司後,臉變了。看見陳振聰這張玉相,不知為何讓我想起另一張,就在此比對一下。

(誰是陳振聰,所有香港人都認識的新聞人物,騙了富婆港幣30億還貪得無厭,偽造遺囑,想獨吞富婆整個地產王國的男人)
